Blackbird（黑鸟）是英国摇滚乐队TheBeatles的一首歌曲，收录至乐队的双碟唱片《TheBeatles》（因其白色封面通常被称为《TheWhiteAlbum》）。歌曲由PaulMcCartney创作，署名为Lennon–McCartney。
McCartney在PBS的特别节目介绍了Blackbird的创作背景，这首歌是受到了J。S。Bach的BourréeinEminor(一个众所周知的鲁特琴作品)的启发，这个作品经常在古典吉他上演奏。
作为孩子，他和乔治哈里森试图学习鲁特琴来“炫耀”。该bourré是杰出的旋律和低音音符同时在上下串连。麦卡特尼采用了这种创作方式，创作出了blackbird。
一种说法认为歌的来由很简单，有一天早上Paul在Rishikesh醒来，听到一只Blackbird在唱歌。然后Paul拿起吉他，把小鸟的叫声纪录成音乐，收集进了专辑里。另外一个版本比较常见，Paul写下了这首歌是由于看到关于美国种族歧视报道。
他用一只断了翅膀的黑色小鸟挣扎着飞翔，来象征在压迫下的弱势种族的奋发向上。英文里的“Bird”，也代指女孩。"Blackbird"也有黑奴的含义。
Paul接受采访时也曾说，说当时他们在美国，正碰上美国的黑人运动。他们都对此有很高的热情。他在写这首歌的时候，脑子里想的是一个黑人女孩，多过一只blackbird。“我想鼓励你们，不放弃，坚持信念，希望就在前方”。
